This video is long. It is grandparent material. Just a word of warning. Chloe was performing for a live studio audience. Uncle Christian, Uncle Paul, Aunt Rachel, Lily, and parents were all in attendence...Yes...ham would be the appropriate word.
Oh, yes...a sidenote...Christmas Eve got started a bit late (Paul and Rachel had some car troubles coming back from Disneyland) so the girls were loopy (okay we all were). We had a simple and yummy dinner of Chili (I made it) and Clam Chowder in bread bowls (fresh from Point Loma Seafoods--best in town) and lots of good beverages, of course.
While Christian and Ben were out on an errand I put cheese dip and spinach dip out for us to munch on while we waited for dinner. When they walked in and saw the table Ben said, "Now Christmas is really here...the cheese dip and chips are out..." It just struck me as funny, sweet, and true. Every past Christmas in Denver we celebrate Christmas Eve with dips, chips, soups, breads. It isn't Christmas without it. Wouldn't you agree Sabey Family?
